Provided with the information about the salsa, I created three jar labels, each one unique and designed with it’s flavor in mind. Not only is the information about each flavor different on the label, but the logo I created for Desert Pepper also changes based on which salsa jar it appears on. Mild was represented with green and the smallest of the horns on the three logos. Medium is orange with a more classic bull skull as the logo. Finally, the hot is represented by red and has the largest and most menacing horns of the three. Included with the three jars is a custom made wooden box, with the basic Desert Pepper logo appearing on the top.
This project was submitted to the Buffalo AAF and earned me my second Silver ADDY award.
