This is a rebrand of the Westwind Inn, a lakefront lodge in the Kawartha Lakes area of Bobcaygeon, Ontario. The idea was to find a hotel or other lodge type business in need of a rebranding and create a new brand identity from scratch.
The name was changed to “Kawartha Lakeside Lodge” and the goal was to include something that could represent the area in the logo itself. I included a simplified version of a muskellunge or “muskie”, a large fish native to the lakes in Ontario. Below are some examples of the branding, as well as information about the color scheme and logo options.
After designing the branding guide and creating a few assets, I moved on to creating mockups. Below are examples of an app design, banner advertising, billboard advertising, and even a custom piece of clothing they could possibly sell as a souvenir.
